Last 2 Days of Internship!

Today marks the last 2 days of my internship here in the House of Representatives. I really enjoyed my stay here and even though I get a lot of free time, when something is asked of me, I immediately get it done. I learned a lot about the Philippine Legislature during my stay and I'm pretty sure that I'm going to need it sometime in the future. I've met so many people here who come from all walks of life and the experiences they shared with me during my short stay here is very humbling. I'm 178 hours in and as I enjoy my last few days here. I'm going to make the most of it. Thank you to the Plenary Affairs department here in the House of Representatives for making me your intern. It was all worth it. ☺

I'm back!

Hello! I'm back!

Street Volleyball!
(May 2012)

It's been a few months since I actually have written here in this blog. I've been pretty busy with academics and sports and I barely have time to do other things.  I'm currently finishing my internship in the House of Representatives and though its kind of tiring, I'm really enjoying it there. I've always had an interest in Philippine politics so it was really my choice to intern there. I'm also on my last week as an intern and this coming June, I'll be starting my senior year! Time flies so fast I didn't even realize that I am already living the life that I had planned for in the past. I still do play volleyball and have a few more months to actually decide if I'll still play competitive collegiate volleyball or just completely focus on my studies. After all, volleyball has been paying for the best education I could possibly have here in the Philippines so I  really do owe a lot to this sport. I'm really glad that media has been playing the right keys in promoting volleyball in the country and its so good to see new players have so much media exposure in pursuing their dreams like I did when I first stepped foot in the volleyball scene. Thumbs up! :) Happy Mother's Day to your moms!
